the cellar
This is a property of rare beauty that includes an 18th-century farmhouse surrounded by 11 hectares of lush, panoramic vineyards overlooking the western side of the Adige Valley, planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc.
Production zone ALTO ADIGE
The Alto Adige DOC area covers 5,800 hectares, producing 40 million bottles. There are 360 wineries and around 5,000 producers who supply grapes to local cooperatives.
The land under vine consists of a calcareous rocky substratum of marine origin, glacier moraines and rocky fragments of quaternary strata. The combination of all these elements generates very fertile, mineral soils with an excellent drainage capacity.
The westerly facing vineyards are located at an altitude of 600 metres above sea level and most of them are planted on a single plot on the hills facing the Adige Valley.
